Ice Ice Baby

We did get our ice, sleet and now we are waiting on the snow, Did get to leave work early that was a plus. Since the ice has passed and we still have electricity we should be ok. Now I am looking forward to the snow and the drive to work tomorrow. Not.

Is it Snow Or Ice

Two days until the big, who knows what we will get. Today they say we will have a lot of Ice. First comes the rain Thursday morning, then the temp lowers and then it is Ice, Sleet and Snow, either way, unless in slows down I will be driving home in it. Yuk!!
We'll see what comes to pass. Keep you posted since it will be coming your way next.

Bad weather a comin

Had a good weekend, didn't do any thing that I should have. I did cook Sunday dinner and we did do our errands but that was about it. I should have groomed but either I didn't feel like it or the dogs didn't want me to. haha Papa Kat did get the grooming table together again. We had put it up when the kittens came down , it is falling apart and needs help to stay up. That is what duck tape is for. Right !
No need getting a new one as long as the tape holds. I am suppose to have a slumber party at my house on Friday but it doesn't seem like there will be very many coming, no one has said they would me there yet. Sure hope we have a few.
We are suppose to get bad weather on Thursday up to 12 inches of snow they say. Now when they give us a heads up this far in advance we never get any, so lets hope it's the same way this time.
Papa Kat's mom is in a rehab hospital doing well, hopefully she will be going home soon.

Papa Kat's Mom

Papa kat's mom was in a car accident and she has been having a lot of pain in her shoulders and chest. The emergency room said it was bruised. She was hurting very bad so she went back yesterday and you got it, three cracked ribs and a broken shoulder blade. Ouch ! This was of course a long with a broken foot.
I called my mom yesterday too, she was out of breath. I asked her what she was doing, she said moving furniture out of the house. ????
I guess they are getting new carpet and something done with the windows so all the furniture had to be moved. She said they are staying in the motor home until it is done. New carpet that sounds nice. I still need to get mine cleaned. Nothing much is new here except Papa kat said no beans tonight! I guess I will have to cook tonight. Later.

Good Weekend

This has been a good weekend, not that much has happen but my cold is getting better so I felt Like a real person again. Saturday was errand day. Got the HHr serviced it was the 30,000 mile service but since they didn't have record of the 15, 000 mile service they did thatin instead, it was cheaper. Thank G-d !! It cost enough the 30,000 is twice as much. Yuk ! Went to the show we saw the book of Eli. It was good.
PaPa's kat's Mom was in a car accident, she pulled out in front of a car, She got pretty banged up, She broke her foot and hurt her shoulder and can't move her arm on that side because everything is bruised. Made a pot of beans with the left over ham bone from Christmas..Yum I did take down the Christmas Tree, so the holidays are now over, finally!

A little under the weather

I am still a little under the weather, can't seem to get rid of this cold. I had a infusion on Thursday so that of course didn't help matters as far as the cold any way.
I didn't do very much this weekend. I wanted to take down the Christmas stuff but that didn't happen. Dinner was simple a frozen lasagna and garlic bread. I am not much better today but it seems it will take a long time to shed this cold but good news it is suppose to be in the 40's all week!
Amber got contacts yesterday, wonder how long it will take her to get them in and out.
She likes the idea of having friends spend the night at my house but is thinking about a slumber party for her Birthday. Not sure I am ready for that.

Back to normal again

Now the the kids have left and the holidays are over and done with, the only thing left to do is take down the tree and put away the holiday things for next year. Ever year I say I am going to get a new tree but end up using the old one again. Every year, I think if I toss it now then I will have to get a new one but as luck has it, money is always a issue around that time. If I was smart, I would buy one after the holidays but that doesn't happen either. Oh well.
I am still nursing a cold and I hope it goes away soon. I have gone thru a box of Kleenex and now I am on TP duty until I go to the store. Is is not as soft!
I really enjoyed having the kids for the Holidays, wish I could see them more often. (hint)
This weekend I don't have anything planned except a trip to the store. It has been very cold this week but is suppose to warm up to the forties next week. Heat wave!
