The aftermath of the big T

It is the next morning and everyone survived the night. We had tornado's all around us popping up everywhere. It was a event full night and now for the clean up.

Like I said we were ok, no damage just some leaves taken off the tree. This was the first Tornado for OKC this year but we have chances all week for more but we knew this weekend that yesterday would be bad.

Everyone at work survived but had friends or family and had damage. Sue's husband had his windshields broken by the baseball size hail and others had damaged to their roofs because of the hail.

Let's hope for a better day.

It is that time of the year again

We have had our first tornado of the year, hit cars on I 40 by Choctaw Rd. Took out homes and Mobile homes in that area. I was driving home as things were happening, hail and wind. Not fun to drive it. Softball size hall in Norman and Moore. I just love this time of the year.

Thank you kittens for a wonderful Mother's day and Iron man was great!

The sun is shinning and all is well

I am ready for the weekend. Nothing much planned except going to the show to see Iron man 2.

I need to get some tomato plants planted before it is to late and a dog groomed. I am not feeling the dog grooming so I will have to play that by ear.

It is good garage sale weather but the kittens have been going by themselves so I would have to get the old papa motivated and that isn't going to happen, I am sure. A few extra hours sleeping in is always nice so I guess I will work on that.

Happy happy B day

I had a good Birthday and felt well loved. For my birthday dinner at home I bought shrimp and crab legs and had a real seafood treat. Yumm Had to fix it but it was well worth it. The girls at work took me to lunch and I had cake at break time. The whse gets a break at 3 and we always celebrate then.
I got a call from my mom, my daughters and my oldest granddaughter. I received flowers from my youngest kitten, pretty sweet ,and a check from my mother. That is always nice.
My birthday and mothers day is always at the same time so I usually get a mothers day birthday combo every year. This is not fair because Papa kat's birthday isn't close to father's day and he gets both. Oh well what can you do.

My mother isn't doing very well, so we will have to think about making a trip to see her soon.
Papa kat said maybe in August, so I will have to check into that.

Birthday dinner

Had a good weekend, yesterday went to a fish meeting. It took up much of the afternoon. The topic was how to bag fish for travel and to get them ready to put in your tank. It was interesting but most of the info I already knew. Our club is having a Spring Fling in a couple of weeks but it will be in Tulsa instead of OKC. (Big fish auction)
I don't know if I will go or not yet, I am sure the kids will go.
Today we went out to eat for my Birthday. I decided that Outback had my name on it. It was good and I am so full now. Weekend's always go by so fast!
