Monday and counting

It is the start of another week and It has been a Monday, Christmas is in a little over a week and I am not any farther along then I was last week. Since I am taking the week after Christmas off I will have to have the month closed out before Christmas. As far as Christmas in general ,I am taking that one day at a time. The Christmas tree is up and that's a plus and as far as everything else I guess that is one day at a time too. Christmas for me is more work then fun so It isn't my favorite time of the year. Now if I was 10 it would be a wonderful time of the year. Friday is Papa kat's and my Anniversary it will be 44 years, So I am taking the day off and we are going to do something special, go out to eat or something like that. I am hoping I can some chores done too. We will see what the day brings, Fingers crossed hoping it all works out in my favor. haha

Kitten is home now

The kitten is home from the hospital . Since she went to Wal-Mart last night I would say she must be on the mend. Her family made her ride in a cart at least.
I made her the jello salad she likes last night and found out she wasn't at home when I called to tell them I would be bringing it over. I wasn't happy about her being out but they had gotten a refund check and I am sure it was burning a hole in some one's pocket. Just hope she doesn't over do it.
Kids they never listen to their parents no matter how old they are.

Kitten doing well

The oldest kitten had surgery and seems like she is doing well. Hopefully she will be home tomorrow. Counting the days until Christmas and my other kitten will be here to visit. Yeah!!!

Sick kitten

Brendie kat has to have surgery next Wednesday, poor kitten, she has to have her appendix removed. Ouch ! She should be good by Christmas if all goes according to plan. One night in the hospital, it is a late surgery and a week off of work. She has been having very high blood pressure lately so they put her on blood pressure med's and hopefully that will help. Hope she will feel better soon,

Full Tummy's

Thanksgiving is over and we still are eating left overs, good but getting a little old. I only did one of the things that were on my list of things to do and that was to to groom all 4 dogs. Thursday, since no one was coming over Papa Kat and I went to the show and saw 2012, we thought it was good. Friday is was a cooking day and eating day. Saturday was leftover day and the bedlam game. Today things were back to normal, no football game. Tomorrow it is back to work and end of month. December is just around the corner!!

Turkey count down

Went shopping for all the Turkey fixin's with list in tow. Hopefully I didn't forget any thing important. Menu is going to be simple, the normal stuff but I am going to have it on Friday in stead of Thursday. Instead of the kids eating two dinners on Thursday I am having it on Friday instead. Today I made pumpkin bread, yummy. Fall is always a nice time to start doing more baking.

Back home again

We finally made the trip to see papa kat's Mom this weekend. Left Saturday morning after Papa kat got his flu shot. The trip was nice, no problems. Papa kat worked on his mom and brother's computer most of yesterday while I visited with his mom and my sister in law. Today we left mid morning and got home in time to give Shadow his shot. Papa kat is napping like he worked hard, however I drove most ot the way while he directed me with his eyes closed. Go figure. Made a few stops at Mickey D's along the way( they have better rest rooms then the quick stops) and now it is time to think about feeding the kat again. Nice to visit but nice to be home again too, now it's back to work tomorrow Yuck.
