Weekend is finally here!!!!!

Hope to make to the casino this weekend, weather should be good this time.
Papa kat just got word that his computer should be delivered on Monday.
He will be a happy kat if all works like it should. Past purchases have had something wrong or left off, hopefully this time they will get it right.
Easter vacation should be upon you, hope you have a great week and everyone is well. Happy house hunting or just plain laying around, what ever you are planning to do.

No glasses today

They called and rescheduled my eye appointment for today now I have to wait until Monday. Bummer

It is suppose to rain today but other then that the week looks like it will be nice. I think spring might me here now.

Didn't go out to eat.

The birthday kitten didn't want to go out to eat yesterday, she has requested that we do that on Friday. I don't like going to eat on Friday's much because there is always a line and a wait. Hopefully she will pick some place that isn't so busy.
Tomorrow I go and get my eyes checked so we will see how broke I am after the visit. I can't wait for new glasses, I will get them at the Dr's office they will not be ready in a hour. I like the hour thing much better then the week thing but you have to go where your insurance takes you.
Insurance that is a bad word with the new bill that went into effect.
I don't think everyone realizes that it will not be free insurance. Everyone will pay a premium.
I guess we will have to wait and see how they iron everything out.

Only a little snow

Our big blizzard for Oklahoma City didn't amount to much only 2.5 inches here, the north east got a bunch. The wind was five miles short of blizzard strength so it was just blowing wind.

We stayed at home and watched the weather channel for the big event but nothing. I guess that was good. This weekend was just a stay at home and watch TV kind of a event.

I fixed corn beef as planned. The kittens brought over pies for Brekat's birthday. It is her birthday today so I think we will go out to eat.

Winter Storm

It is suppose to get up into the 70's today and tomorrow they say we are getting a blizzard with 6-8 inches of Snow. Tomorrow is the first day of spring so I guess snow is the ticket.

We have a lot of people out of work today with either spring break plans or this Coughing thing. I ready to have mine gone.

Sending Papa kat out to do some last minute grocery shopping in case we do get snowed in. I need to get some cabbage for the the corn beef for Sunday dinner. Yum !

It sounds like it will be a movie watching weekend, I have a lot of things recorded to get caught up on so it works for me.

To our surprise Star has come into season again and Shadow's nose still works, right now she is moving to fast for him to find her. Poor blind boy. I have been making him special dog food that we add to his regular dog food, rice and chicken and he loves it and is cleaning his plate. Hoping that will put a few pounds on him, he is so skinny.

Thought maybe we would hit the casino on Saturday they have a $20.00 match play but with the weather don't know if that will happen. With the $20.00 match play at least it will take twice as long to loose it.

St Patty's day is always a fun holiday if you like things green. I do, only it is $$$$$. I have the corn beef and cabbage scheduled for Sunday's meal. We will be Irish just a little late. Brekat's birthday is Monday, I haven't heard what the plan is for that yet. Most likely we will go out to eat. Called the GreatGrandkat and they are doing their mobile home thing so all must be well their way. All this talk about food is making me hungry..lunch time.

Just couldn't think of a title today. I hope everyone is feeling better. I think I am or at least as long as I stay on the cough med's. This stuff just does NOT want to go away. The weather has been nice so that is a plus. Still feeling jet lag from the time change. I go to the eye Dr. need week and order new glasses that is exciting. I guess I will find out how blind I am. Papa kat ordered his computer so we will be broke again. He should get it the end of next week. I was proud of him he didn't go with the biggest and best just one that would do the job. Good thing or he would have had to wait a while longer.
