I am so happy someone noticed my blog!!

Broken Kitten.

My oldest kitten and her family went on vacation a few weeks ago. While on vacation
and playing on some Segways her husband crashed into leaving her pretty beaten up.
When she came home she was very black and blue. I mean really black and blue all down her left side. He was going at top speed when they crashed. The Kitten was having trouble walking with out pain and her wrist was bothering her when they got back home. So off to the family Doctor, they took x-rays and gave her pain pills and sent her home. Everything looked fine....but was it? She still was having trouble walking without pain so this time a MRI was ordered. You guessed it broken bone!! She had fractured her pelvis next to her hip, it never did separate and had already started to heal it was something you wouldn't have seen on a normal x-ray unless you were looking for it. It is usually what they see in older people so they weren't looking for it in her. Now she has to stay off her feet as much as possible and not do house work or cooking ect. That shouldn't be a problem for her, she doesn't like those things anyway. Poor Kitten I know what it is like to have to stay off of your paws. Not fun!!
