Telephone Repair

Today the telephone person is coming to fix the telephone line in the house.
Last week, the main phone line was making noise and we were unable to use it. We called the repair people and they said, you don't have maintenance on that line and anything that is in the house will cost you. Now their records showed that we had maintenance on the secondary line but not the main one. Now why would we no that??
They came out and the problem was outside, they said that lighting had struck the line. I didn't hear any lighting the night before but we didn't have to pay so that was just fine with me. We now have maintenance on the main line, so we are having everything checked out on the inside to. The line in the kitchen is acting squirrely the rest seem to be fine. Now let's see if they show up. Gotta love Ma bell.
