The EOM was a breeze. I wish they all were like this. Now the weekend is on it's way, yeah.
Tomorrow I have a fish meeting, I haven't been in several
months so Iam ready to go to one. Went to the grocery store on the way home picked up a few things. Now Cherry's just happen to fall in to the shopping cart. They were on sale, the cheapest I have seen but still couldn't aford many but enough for a nice snack. Yum

Taco Munchen

After a long day at work, Papa kat decided that taco's were in order. I agreed, since I didn't have to cook, so a quick swing by the local Taco place on the way home was in order. Yum , Papa kat had a good idea and all the dishes went into the trash, double yeah.

Hanging around waiting for the weekend

Why is it that the weekend goes by so fast?

Now I know that there is only two days on the weekend and five on the week days but Iam sure the weekend should last longer. It is the EOM week, so I am trying to get everything done before Friday, so far it looks like it will be done on time. Other then that nothing is new.

Beans and Cornbread

Yesterday was a lazy day.
Papa kat and Brekat went to the computer auction to get some parts for her computer, after that Papa had to take a long nap.
You know that kats like napping all the time and so does Papa kat.
I decided I would play my game, had not done that in awhile. Leftovers for dinner so that made things easier.
My mother called to say my brother was back in the hospital. He had a infection but should beable to go home today.
Today I will pick up the house and make dinner. We are having beans and cornbread. Have to tighten up the pocket book until payday. Papa is off to the store to pick up bread and milk. He likes driving the new car. Davkat rode in the car yesterday with Papa kat, he doesn't like it because it doesn't have enought head room for him.
Oh well.

Escape to freedom

Today has been a draining kind of a day. Nothing special or eventful but just tiring. I really don't have much to say, how boring is that.
Today the dogs did have quick flight of freedom. We had a roof inspector come to check out our roof . We had a storm the other day and our shingles were standing up on end on part of the roof. The estimate of course was less then our deductible. He said we should just be able to patch it. He left the gate open and the dogs just saw freedom. The neighbor let Papa know that they were out but they decided home was better and came back on their own. So that was a very good thing.

Monday, Tuesday 3 days until Friday

Yesterday the kittens were over here working on the new computer that my oldest kitten purchased. Papa kat had to work on it and still is working on it...........
Seems it didn't come with all the software and many, many ,calls later Papa kat is still working on it. Kittens over translates in to me fixing dinner.
Dinner means dishes and some how they are always left to clean up later.
Papa kat was a gem and did them today. So I came home to a clean sink.
Now if I can just get him to cook and have dinner ready for me, that would me wonderful. My brother is doing better and should be going home soon.
He wasn't happy that they shaved all his chest hairs, I am sure it will be nice and itchy soon.
Went to the dentist today for a teeth cleaning so I have a bright smile now. Still have the crown to think about, maybe in a few months. Smile now!

Show Times

Went to see Harry P. it was what it is, a to be continued flick. I did groom the last of the three this morning and picked up the kitchen. Now it is time to work on the bathroom and fix dinner. Later............

Saturday Blues

Today was a lazy day. Picked up the angel food and had a quick breakfast at Papa's favorite dinner. My Allergies were bothering me today and even with med's I still have that wonderful headache. Hope tomorrow is a better day.

I did groom two dogs, saving the third one for tomorrow. Snow was full of mats so it took forever. The mats are created by the little one always chewing on her. She thinks it is playing.

Tomorrow we are going to the show to see Harry P. Hope it is good.

My brother went through his surgery with flying colors but hasn't started chasing the nurses around the bed yet.

Guess we will have to give him a few more days.

Allergies bad!

Joy Riding

Took the car to work and love the way it drove. Papa takes it tomorrow so it's back to old Betsey. My brother has surgery tomorrow morning, a triple by-pass. Hope he does well, my prayers will be with him.
The weekend will be here soon, glad for that. Nothing planned, may go to the show. The dogs need to still be groomed, hopefully that will happen.

The gangster car

We are now proud owners of a 2008 Chevy HHR LT1. The color is Sandstone Metallic (which is a goldish beige) I love the color. It is fully loaded with all the electric stuff, black leather seats and Sun roof. Now we will have a car payment that is a bummer but needed a car. Tomorrow I get to drive it to work. I will have to learn how to park it in a reg size space and back up with out hitting anything, that may be hard to do. Wish me luck.

Car Dreaming

Papa kat has been looking at Cars at the Credit Union. We looked at a few this evening. Can't afford anything until the SSN comes in but just getting a idea of what we will be able to afford and like. It has to be something I can get in and out of. I saw a Chevy HHR and a PT Curser I think would work.

Buying from the credit union Repo center is as is , they do finance at 100% so that is a plus. Guess we will just have to wait and see what Papa comes up with.

Think he is going to look at some car lots.

Late for Supper

It turned out to be a pleasant Sunday even though the kittens didn't show for dinner. They had made plans to visit a family member and go swimming. They forgot to clue me in until after the meal had already been started. The soup was ok, not on my list to make again real soon. Most of it will go in the freezer for next time. Now it's work again tomorrow! Yuk.

It's working!

The temperature is down to it's normal cool. Love that!

Now that everything is back to normal it's time to clean up a little around here and fix the Sunday dinner. Trying a new soup. It is called, check out the freezer and see what we come up with. I think it will be Italian wedding soup, seems like that fits the things I already have. Don't know if it will be a winner, guess we will see.

Cool is Cool

A C is fixed, pocket book is empty!
The reset button on the compressor was popped, now we know where to look. You have to take the cover off and it is under the unit, Papa wouldn't have ever found it. We will know for next time. A leaf had gotten into the intake so the safely measures popped in or should I say popped out.
Our service plan had expired so we had to pay that, we are now good for another year. Now we just have to wait until the house cools down.

Broken A C

Came home yesterday to a hot house, Papa kat hadn't noticed the temp had gotten higher in the house from a cool 72 to 89. It was a very hot day , 100 plus and he figured it was because it was so hot outside but it has been hot. After checking, the compressor wasn't coming on, this is bad. This morning a call was placed to our AC company and they will be here some time this afternoon. Now is it something that is covered under our plan or something more then a service call? We all know the odds. Yesterday we went to the social Security office to get Papa kat's SSN started, can't wait until that starts $$$ maybe we can afford a payment for a New used car. Papa Kat's car is broken and can't be fixed without a lot of green.

Snip Snip

Had my hair cut, so now I am beautiful again...not but at least it is cooler. I am ready for the weekend even though I don't have anything planned. I need to groom those loveable pets of mine, we'll see if that gets done. Dinner is almost ready so I better go eat...yum

The Sweet Smell of Perm

Tomorrow I go to get my hair cut so it was time for a perm.

I roll, Papa kat squirts the stuff and complains about the smell but I sure save the dough ray me $$.

Today was a good day, just kept busy.

Seems like my fellow works didn't want me to slack off so they kept me well supplied with work.

Friends are so caring aren't they.

Work can be fun!

Today I went back to work. It was great seeing everyone again.

Put in a long day, had to stop and get a infusion first and then on to work.

My paw is ok but my back hurts, guess it didn't like the stair climbing or just plain moving. We had a bad start this morning, someone not me, turned off the alarm and then it was a rush to make it to the doctor on time. We did but I like to wake up slow. It will be early to bed for me today.

Freedom at last!

Today I finally got my cast off. I am now in a boot and will be for awhile but I can take a shower with out worrying about getting my foot wet.

Tomorrow I go back to work and that makes me happy.

I may have a different story later in the week.

The holiday is over

The 4th is over and time to start a new week. Bummer!!
Not much is knew here and all is well. Leo is home and doing better.
Tomorrow I go to the Dr. I am hoping he wll take the cast off of my paw.
I would be very happy if he did. Purrrrrrrrrr.
Dinner is over and time for a nap, later.

Independence Day

Thanks to all that have made this day possible.

Grandmother Joey said that Leo was in the hospital, kidney stones. He was having trouble passing them and had developed a infection. Hopefully he will come one today.
Even though he was running a fever and very weak, he didn't want to go to the doctor.
Now why are men like that?
I know there are those who go to the doctor but the ones I know just complain and want to be babied. Go figure!

End of the Blazers

It was announced today that the Blazer Hockey team is folding. Lack of money is the reason they are giving.
All the team members will become free agents and the head coach will stay in the city and contintue with his other job.

These are sad times.

The 4th is Coming

Other then the normal hot dogs,hamburgers and fireworks.
The 4th means a extra day off from work.

That makes me happy!

I think I will do nothing that involves work, sounds like a good plan to me.

Inventory Blues

Yesterday was my company's yearly inventory, I wasn't there.
You would think that I would be happy about this but I wasn't. It is something I have been in charge of for 20 years but this year I turned over the reigns to someone else. I am sure all went well... I still feel a little sad anyway.
