Short Month

Feb. is a short month and March is almost here. How time passes away, before you know it it will be April 15th and taxes will be due.

Don't have much planned for the weekend. Papa kat says he might go to Putnam tomorrow to work on a computer. He asked me to come along but I don't want to go and sit around while he is working. I hope he can solve the problem over the phone.

I should groom the other two dogs, Shadow and Shine. Shine for sure but I think I will leave shadows hair long except for his face. He is so skinny and we still have some cold weather ahead of us.

Woke up to snow this morning but it all should be melted off by the time I go home. It was just enough to cover the grass, we re expecting some more on Sunday but not much. It looks like it might be a good soup day but we will see.

Watchin done

Went out to eat after work with the girls. It was nice, we need to do it more often. The kitten watched herself most of the night, coming out every now and then to let us know she was still around. The dogs were good, it is much better when the kitten is there, they must feel at home.
Watched a little TV, then lights out for me.
This morning ran smooth, dropped her off at the bus stop and then off to work. Our EOM is Friday so I must get back to work,

Watchin the kitten

Today we get to watch the kitten and get her to school in the morning. It is Brekat's anniversary and they always get a motel room were the spent their honeymoon. How romantic! I am sure they go for the hot tub. This means that we have to watch the dogs too. That is always so delightful. I am going out to eat with the girls tonight, nothing special just a gossip dinner. We try and do it once in awhile because not everyone can go to lunch at the same time at work.

Happy Slumber

We had the slumber party as planned. I think everything was good, at least it seemed so. If girls making all kind of noise is any indication then it was a hit.
They must have stayed up late, I went to bed at my normal time but when Papa kat got up at 6 to feed the dog the TV was still on. Everyone was a sleep so I guess they fall asleep watching TV.
They were served Mc D's for breakfast and then off the went.
Papa kat and I did our Saturday running around and got back after the last girl left. Brekat and Amkat helped clean up the mess and then they were off as well.
Sunday they went to the friends of the library book sale. They said they got lots of books. I remember the days when the kids went.
I Cooked dinner and then got ready for the week.
Now I am here and wondering were my weekend went.

Ready for slumber

Tonight in suppose to be a slumber party at my house, I hope some one shows.

Amkat didn't seem like very many people were coming or at least no one RSVP'd that they would. The house is ready, that is if Papa Kat vacuums as ordered.

I am ready for the weekend. The weather has been nice!!!!

It is suppose to rain a little on Sunday, no big event.

Maybe springs is around the corner. I do like winter. nothing dangerous comes out of the sky and blows you away.

Torture done

The dentist is over and I have a new temporary crown, the real one should be ready in a couple of weeks. There were needles involved, they removed my old crown and cleaned everything up and made me a new one. I hate biting down on the stuff to make the mold. Yuck.

When I got home I groom the two white/spotted dogs. The weather has been nice so it was time to do it. It took me forever since they both had mats everywhere. The little one is the worst. Papa kat had to come and help me settle her down and that didn't help much, but I got her done.

That was my day.

Torture coming

Today I go to the dentist, Ouch! I don't like dentists much, never have, never will. I still have to Women up and go anyway. NO NO, not the dentist.

Wonderful week

I hope this week will be a wonderful one, No snow, No bad weather, everyone healthy ect. This week end was good, my baby had her 40th birthday so that made me feel old. Seems like she had a good one.

Went to the show on Sunday, we saw Percy it was good for what it was. Fixed dinner, Roast. Watched a lot of TV, with the Olympics on it is addictive.

Today is Presidents day but the little kitten Amkat had to go to school to make up a Snow day. I wonder if it was some one else's birthday, that was in Jan, if they would have gone to school...hummmm. Just wondering?

Did the normal stuff that we usually do on Saturday but we got a late start do to the Papa kat snoozing time.

I go to the Dentist Wednesday to finally get a crown put in. ( I have had a temp for 2 years) I figured it was working just fine but the dentist keeps on telling me I need a new one. (more money in his pocket and it takes all of mine) Boo hoo!

Tried and ready to nap

I have been waking up tired, I am sure it is allergies, so I could really take a nap right about now. I am at work and on my lunch hour so I could take a short nap but that would just make it worse.
Yesterday we had Sun, I all most forgot what it looked like but today it is over cast and has been spitting some small snow flakes. We are not suppose to get any accumulation but they are south of us.
It does look clear for the next few days. Tomorrow is suppose to be in the 50's and then a cold spell again for the week end. Burr.
With all the rain and warmer days you would think the big snow mounds would be all melted but I still see some around and we didn't have all the snow you did on the east coast. I bet the back is getting sore with all that shoveling.
Snow blower might be in order for you next year, right.

From Paris with love

Went to see the new Travolta Movie, it was pretty good. It was strange to see him playing that kind of a character, he did pretty good playing a Die Hard type.

Yesterday I went to my monthly fish meeting. I had ordered some fish from the person who was speaking, he was from Arkansas. A few of the fish didn't make it but most were still kicking this morning.

We didn't do our errands yesterday as planned. Papa kat thought he needed to sleep, so we had to hit the stores today. With the super bowl and a storm coming in. It wasn't fun at all. I hate lines!!

Friday!!!!

The end of the week is finally here. It has been long for some reason. Sleeping in is on my list of things to do. Have a fish meeting tomorrow, so that will take up most of Saturday and the errands the rest.

At least I will NOT have a foot of snow to deal with, like some one we know and love. Have a good weekend!

Rain

It was rain not snow, but the rain has melted most of the snow and it doesn't look pretty anymore.

They still say we might get snow Sunday, Monday, a measurable amount, what ever that means. I have payroll to do on Monday, so as long as I can get to work that is all I want.

Hump day....Yeah

Nothing much is new since yesterday, went to work, picked up some Chinese per Papa kats request and watched some TV. I woke up this morning still tried, I guess I must have been working in my sleep or something like that.

Tomorrow we are suppose to get some rain/snow?? I guess I will know more tomorrow when I wake up and see what is on the ground. Sunday-Monday they are calling for Snow as well but things might chance before then. If we do get some I don't think it will be much.

Called yesterday and spoke with greatgrannie kat, they are still living in the motor home waiting for all the remodel to be done to the house. She said if all goes well they should put the carpet in on Friday. It has been raining and has slowed things down a bit. She said she hasn't been doing well, all the dust has been making it hard to breath. Knowing her I am sure she has to check things out and supervise the goings on, instead of staying out of the house.

Birthday's are coming fast for Monoko and I think this is a big one.
Better get the walking canes out!!!!

Snow on the ground

Today we still have snow on the ground,it is suppose to get up in the 40's so it should start melting. We are suppose to get some more in a few days but just a small amount, only 20% chance.

No school again today but I am sure with it warming up they should have it tomorrow. Thanks for the help on getting Amkat as a follower but in trying I also made my self a friend . Didn't want to mess up anything so I just left it that way. Wasn't sure if I deleted it what would happen.

Amkat stayed at home today, Papa kat must not have been a good host or she wanted to sleep in. Everyone came over for left overs last night, which means I have to cook tonight. I am sure it will be something easier.

I am thinking chicken pot pies but Papa kat may put a nix on that.

Snow is over

The snow is over and it's back to work. The schools are still closed, they say the roads aren't good enough for the buses yet. That means Amkat is home with Papa kat today, she wanted to come over to play some games with papa kat.

Amkat started a blog but we don't know how to link it to your blog, she wants to link to Kit kat. We can use the help, I guess I could read up on it but asking you sounds so much easier. Don't you agree!
